The Story of Light and Life Farm

Our family farm is located in beautiful Rutledge, Georgia, where farm life is more than a lifestyle, it’s a passion. Inspired by two remarkable little girls, Ella “Ray of Light” and Vivian “Full of Life,” our farm in Georgia is built on love, learning, and a deep connection to nature. At Light & Life Farm, we believe that caring for farm animals teaches essential values like hard work, compassion, and joy.

We may not always get it right, but every day is an opportunity to grow, learn, and share our experiences with others. Our small but thriving herd includes Dexter cattle and Boer goats, along with commercial beef cattle and a few charming Kune Kune pigs. We invite you to follow along on our adventures here as well as keep us in mind if you ever want to add a little Light and Life to your farm. We regularly have animals available and you can rest assured that they come from a home where they were raised right! We also welcome you to ask any questions you may have when raising your animals or looking at raising any of these breeds. We truly believe in the community of farming and the need to support each other along the way!
